Teflon Accordion Packing for OS&Y Hydrolet

Part Number: 76315TF suitable for use with Betts’ Outside Screw & Yolk Hydrolet only.

This patent pending design offers a custom Teflon® accordion packing with Teflon® encapsulated O-rings used as energizers to keep the packing actively charged.  This feature increases the packing’s sealability and resists cold-flowing that leads to loose packing nuts.

With this packing configuration, the packing nut requires minimal tightening torque to seal.  Tightening range of packing nut is 10 to 25 foot-pounds.  Bore and shaft of valve must be clean and free of damage or corrosion prior to install.

* The 76315TF is NOT suitable for use with Standard Hydrolet Valves, Sliding Valves and Gate Valves.  See 76059TF for seal for these applications.
