Quick Clean Steam Jacket OS&Y Hydrolet Valve – Outside Screw & Yolk Recessed Tophead Style
The Betts Steam Jacketed Quick Clean QRB (Quick Removable Bonnet) Hydrolet with OS&Y (Outside Screw and Yolk) and special recessed bonnet is a 3” manually operated loading/unloading stop-valve typically used in conjunction with a primary self-closing stop-valve on DOT407 and 412 cargo tanks.
The Steam Jacketed QC-OS&Y offers the same features as the QC-OS&Y, such as, external stem threads and recessed bonnet but with the added advantage of providing a method to circulate heated fluid around the valve for applications where a temperature-sensitive product may solidify in the valve if it cools. The jacket material is 304 stainless steel and the two steam fittings are ¾” NPT female couplings.
Special variations are offered to meet customers’ specific needs, such as, 4” eccentric sump inlet flange, extended outlet or extended outlet with -35° outlet elbow.
