Manifold Air Control Panel- Push/Pull with Master Control Air Reset, Gauge, and Indicator

The Betts’ Manifold Air Control Panel can be used to manage the operation of an Air Manifold and other corresponding pneumatic components such as Vapor Valves and Internal Self-closing Stop Valves.  The Manifold Air Control Panel combines the Master Control Valve (see AD22MC) with a bank of Distributor Valves (see AD22V) to provide a “plug and play” assembly that can be used to direct commodity through the Manifold to the appropriate unloading pump.  Panel style “A” also includes a Pressure Gauge and Indicator Wink to provide a visual indication of panel pressure as well as verification of air pressure return from the Vapor Valves and Emergency Valves.  An Emergency Shutdown Valve (see ES22PP) and API Load/Unload Panel (see AP22LU) are offered separately to complete the pneumatic control system.

The Master Control Valve provides a “reset” function when pushed in to retract all the Distributor Valves to the closed position.  Two Air Control Panels with additional shuttle valves can be used in tandem to operate and control a Dual Air Manifold system for tank trucks with dual pump systems. In this situation, the Distributor Valves provide a lock-out feature that sends signal air to hold back the opposite panel’s corresponding Distributor Valve to help prevent cross-contamination.  As with any system, the operator must be aware of what commodity is in which compartment and follow correct operational and safety procedures.

The valve blocks and panel are lightweight anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance and performance.
