Guardian™ Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valves Part Numbering Code
The Betts’ line of Guardian™ Relief Valves are 316 stainless steel pressure, vacuum or combination relief valves for use on DOT 407 or 412 cargo tanks. They are available in a wide variety of mounting and seal options in both 3 and 4” sizes and can be specified ECTFE coated for added chemical resistance. Set pressure can be designated to match cargo tank MAWP.
A representative part numbering system is used for Guardian™ Valves. Each letter or digit in the part number is indicative of a feature or option as shown in the chart. If an option is not covered by the standard numbering system, a suffix will apply. All options and part number combinations may not be available or even possible.
