6″ Pneumatic & Hydraulic Operated TTMA Wet-R-Dri Butterfly Valve

The Betts Wet-R-Dri Valve is a lightweight and compact quarter turn in-line stop valve. This easily maintained and versatile valve is widely used for liquid, gaseous or dry products and is available in a variety of sizes.  This valve comes with an actuator that opens and closes the valve and provides a visual indicator that clearly shows the orientation of the valve disc.  The actuator is available in various styles:

  • Air-open/air-close (model “17”)
  • Air-open/spring-close (model “19”)
  • Spring-open/air-close (model “19” with suffix “017”)
  • Hydraulic-open/spring-closed (model “18”)
  • Spring-open/hydraulic close (model “18” with suffix “017”)

The body is offered in aluminum, cast iron or stainless-lined with coatings available for increased chemical resistance and extended service life.  The actuator is e-coated aluminum with a robust fiberglass cylinder.  The disc seal and shaft O-rings are available in a variety of materials to optimize chemical resistance and service temperature range.  The bolt pattern matches TTMA piping flange dimensions.

  • Air cylinder max pressure = 150 psig (10 bar)
  • Hydraulic cylinder max pressure = 3,000 psig (207 bar)
  • Actuator max temperature = 240°F (116ºC)

Installation & Maintenance

Installation: The Wet-R-Dri Valve may be mounted in any position.  Care should be taken when mounting the valve to be sure the I.D. of adjoining flanges or pipe is large enough to allow the disc of the valve to open freely.  It is recommended to use Betts flanges and adapters shown in Section 20, Page 5A.
