4″ Aluminum Tapered Seat Emergency Valve – Manual – Straight

Betts tapered seat emergency valves meet HM183 requirements for an internal self-closing stop valve. The body is constructed of aluminum and incorporates a shear section that satisfies 49CFR178.345-8 tested per TTMA RP 84.  Internal trim is constructed of stainless steel and a Teflon® encapsulated main seal is standard for compatibility with a wide range of products.

Cable operated valves are supplied with a universal lever arm which provides up to 8 cable travel options to work with most operators. Lever arm is “E” Coated to provide additional corrosion resistance.

Left-hand valves are available with cable lever arm on opposite side of valve as shown at right. Add suffix –005 for left-hand option. Add suffix –004 for optional screen.
