3″ OS&Y Hydrolet Valve – Outside Screw & Yolk Style
The Betts 3” Outside Screw and Yolk (OS&Y) Hydrolet is a manually operated loading/unloading stop-valve typically used in conjunction with a primary self-closing stop-valve on DOT407 and 412 cargo tanks.
The OS&Y Hydrolet offers the same features as the standard Hydrolet but with the added advantage of the stem’s threads being located outboard of the stem’s packing. This feature isolates the threads from the product being hauled resulting in a cleaner, more robust stem seal, well suited for food-grade or harsh chemical applications.
The main valve body is constructed from durable 316 stainless steel, making it ideal for use on transport tanks hauling a variety of products. The valve is available in 90-degree, 45-degree and straight outlet configurations, with either flanged or threaded outlet options.
