3.5″ (89mm) Aluminum Pneumatic Coaming Valve – Flanged Mount

The Aluminum 3.5” (89mm) Pneumatic Interlock Coaming Valve is designed as a positive vapor recovery/transfer valve and is tested and certified to EN13082:2001 with markings per US DOT 49CFR§178.345-5(f). The sequential interlock design allows the vapor valve to be plumbed in series with the loading or unloading valve and the compartment vapor valves. If an interlock feature is not required, the outlet port can be plugged and the valve will function as a basic non-interlock coaming valve.  The air connections are 1/8” NPT.

The Coaming Valve features exceptional flow with an inward opening disk and a tapered seat to ensure a tight seal. An aluminum body with stainless trim, FEP Teflon® main seal and fluorosilicone air cylinder seals offers compatibility with a wide variety of products.** The Coaming Valve includes a threaded-on mounting flange and is intended to be mounted to a blind mounting bolt flange welded into the vapor/coaming rail. The threaded flange allows you to orient the mounting of the valve as needed and rotate the body out of the way to access the bolts under the discharge snout. Once the bolts are secure, rotate the body back into position and tighten. Coaming Valves are available with ADR style flanges or 4″ TTMA flanges.  Please note: Mounting flange gaskets are sold separately.

The Maximum Operating Pressure is defined as the maximum tank pressure that valve can open against with given air-line pressure. Maximum Operating Pressure is 15 psi (1.0 bar) with 90 psi (6.2 bar) line pressure supplied and 20 psi (1.4 bar) with 120 psi (8.3 bar) line pressure supplied.* Valve meets shell strength test of 73 psig (5.0 bar).

The suffix ‘033’ can be added to replace the mounting flange with the standard retaining nut to be used on PAF-style manholes where protection from water incursion is needed without vapor-rail hookup.
